LOAN APPLICATION CHECKLIST

Bring or fax to loan officer:

Social Security Numbers and picture IDs for all applicants.
Copies of statements for checking and savings accounts for past 6 months.
Copies of other cash assets – stocks, bonds, annuities, IRAs, insurance, etc.
Recent paycheck stubs – up to 2 years, if possible.
List of all credit card accounts and all monthly amounts owed.
List of all other loans and debts with account numbers and balances due.
List of all other monthly financial obligations – alimony, child support, etc.
Income tax statements for the last 2 years, including W-2s and 1099s.
Employment history and verification (or contact names and numbers).

Other Items:

Payment to cover application fee, appraisal, etc.
Rental history, including verification of on-time rent payments.
Verification of other/miscellaneous income.
Estimated value of all personal property owned.
Bankruptcy discharge documents and list of creditors.
Letter of explanation for any adverse credit history.
Divorce decrees, property settlements, quitclaim deeds, etc.
For VA only – Bring form DD214 and Certificate of Eligibility.
Anything else requested by underwriter to secure the loan.
